SaraBeth and Jake Hill’s wedding day at Camp Hosea in Anderson, Texas was full of the kind of joy you can’t manufacture—the kind that comes from a story that unfolded exactly the way it was meant to.

The two originally met back in 2018, but their relationship didn’t begin until 2023. From there, everything fell into place quickly and beautifully—an engagement in 2024, followed by their wedding on October 18, 2025, surrounded by their closest friends and family in one of the most peaceful settings in East Texas. From the very beginning of the day, there was a sense of excitement and intention woven into everything. When I asked them to describe their wedding day, they simply said, “Fantastic!! The best day ever!”—and honestly, that sums it up perfectly. They chose not to do a first look, which made their ceremony even more meaningful. Seeing each other for the first time as SaraBeth walked down the aisle was incredibly special—one of those moments that instantly slows everything down. They described it as “the start of forever,” and you could feel that in the way they looked at each other.

One of the most emotional parts of their day was their first prayer together as husband and wife. It was quiet, grounding, and deeply personal—a moment that reflected the foundation they’re building their marriage on. Those are the kinds of moments that often go unseen, but end up meaning the most. While there were so many highlights throughout the day, some of their favorite memories came from the simplest moments—stepping away together, just the two of them, and realizing we’re married. Those little pauses, away from the noise, are often what couples remember most. And then there was the pie cutting—one of the most joy-filled parts of the evening. It was playful, relaxed, and completely true to who they are. That moment turned into one of their favorite photos from the entire day, now printed and hanging in their home. They shared that they find themselves looking at it almost every night, still talking about how much they love it—which is exactly what wedding photos are meant to do: bring you right back.

It meant so much to hear how much they valued their photography experience. SaraBeth shared that it felt like having someone alongside them who truly cared, which is always my goal—not just to capture beautiful images, but to help create a space where you can actually be present in your day.

Their advice to future couples is simple but so important: give yourself plenty of time for photos—but trust that the candid, in-between moments will likely become your favorites. As they step into this next season of life, what they’re most looking forward to isn’t anything extravagant—it’s the everyday moments. Hosting friends, creating a home, and building a life together rooted in love and intention. And if their wedding day was any indication, it’s going to be a really beautiful one.

SaraBeth and Jake’s wedding day at Camp Hosea in Anderson, Texas was full of genuine joy and meaningful moments from start to finish.

Although they met in 2018, their story really began in 2023—leading to their engagement in 2024 and a beautiful fall wedding on October 18, 2025. They chose to wait until the ceremony to see each other, and that moment down the aisle couldn’t have been more special. They described it as “the start of forever.” One of the most meaningful parts of their day was their first prayer together as husband and wife—quiet, intentional, and deeply personal.

Some of their favorite memories weren’t the big events, but the in-between moments—stepping away together and realizing they were finally married. And of course, the pie cutting was a highlight—fun, relaxed, and completely them. It also turned into their favorite photo from the day, now hanging in their home and reminding them daily of how it all felt.

Their advice to future couples? Give yourself time for photos—but don’t underestimate how special the candid moments will be. As they start this next chapter, they’re most excited about the simple things—hosting, creating a home, and building a life together.
