Morgan & Josh | Old Baylor Park Engagement Session | College Station Wedding Photographer
Morgan Garner and Josh Maldonado’s story began at Twin City Church of Christ in College Station, and from the start, it’s been rooted in something genuine and steady. After almost a year and a half together, they’re now preparing for their wedding at Addison Woods in October 2026.
For their engagement session, we met at Old Baylor Park—one of my favorite spots for College Station engagement photos. With its open fields, historic charm, and wide Texas skies, it’s the perfect place for couples wanting that soft, golden sunset feel. That’s exactly what Morgan and Josh were hoping for. They trusted me to choose a location with beautiful light, and the evening did not disappoint. The sun set perfectly over the fields, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere that made the entire session feel effortless.
From the beginning, their session felt easy and natural. Morgan shared how important it was to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and that’s always the goal—to create an experience where you can simply be yourselves. With a mix of movement, laughter, and quiet moments, their photos came together in a way that truly reflects their relationship. She described the experience as fun, encouraging, and full of energy—which is exactly how engagement sessions should feel. When couples are able to relax and trust the process, that’s when the most meaningful images happen.
As a College Station engagement photographer, sessions like this are a reminder that the best photos don’t come from over-posing—they come from connection, light, and letting moments unfold naturally.
With their wedding at Addison Woods in The Woodlands, Texas coming up this October, this session was such a sweet way to capture this season of their story—before stepping into everything that’s ahead.
