“I first knew of Nathan because my grandmother knew his family, and because I met his mother and grandmother when they visited our church while on vacation! We didn’t meet until several months later though, when he visited my high school with the Florida College Friends on tour. However, after meeting hundreds of kids over the course of that tour, he understandably didn’t remember little ole me when I arrived at Florida College the next fall.
No worries though – our paths crossed quickly, and within a month we were dating. So funny how God’s timing works! It was so fun getting to spend our college years together. Those years were filled with lots of study dates, coffee shop visits, and fun times with friends. 3.5 years later, and we are married! We are so excited to be in Tampa with our friends and the church that has become our family, loving and growing alongside them. (And hopefully making lots of trips to the beach and Disney in the future!) Nathan works as a credit analyst for a local bank, and I work as a vision therapist for a pediatric optometrist!
Can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for us.” – Mrs. Kara Shepard
This outdoor, gorgeous wedding was made possible by sweet families, amazing weather, and Florida moss. Set at October Oaks in Webster, FL.
