There’s something timeless and romantic about a garden bridal session, and Katie’s Bridals at the Dallas Arboretum were nothing short of magical. With blooming florals, classic architecture, and soft golden light, this session was a dream from start to finish.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is one of the most iconic and picturesque locations in North Texas. Nestled along White Rock Lake, it features 66 acres of beautifully maintained gardens, walkways, fountains, and European-inspired backdrops. It’s a location that feels like stepping into a storybook—and Katie’s elegance fit right in.
Katie arrived in a stunning gown with delicate lace details and a long, sweeping train that moved beautifully as we explored the gardens. Her look was the perfect blend of modern sophistication and timeless bridal beauty. From the reflecting pools to the rose garden, every setting we stopped at brought a different mood and texture to her gallery.
One of my favorite moments from Katie’s Bridals at the Dallas Arboretum was in the Woman’s Garden, where the soft stone and tranquil water features created a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. As the sun dipped lower, the light filtered through the trees in the most beautiful way—casting a glow around Katie that made her photos feel like a painting.
Sessions like this are what I love most: getting to capture not just how a bride looks, but how she feels—the anticipation, the joy, and the quiet confidence that comes with being on the edge of a new beginning.
If you’re a bride dreaming of a stunning garden backdrop for your bridal portraits, the Dallas Arboretum is a top choice—and I’d be honored to photograph your special season.
